Bill Cowher Sister Who Died Kind Of The Same Way

I respect him even more to take time away from coaching to spend as much time as he could with his wife. It had to be hard to watch her go like that. I had a sister who died kind of the same way it's tough to see them decline and waste away.  My hat is off to you coach best of luck to you and your family.

The Cowhers' three daughters, Meagan, Lauren, and Lindsay, have all been basketball players, speaking to the strong influence of their mother -- and grandmother. Their father originally didn't want them to play, but was overruled by Mrs. Cowher's mother.

Steelers president Art Rooney II said in a statement released by the team. "Kaye was a very private person who was very devoted to her family. Kaye made many friends in our organization and our community. She will be missed by the many people whose lives she touched. On behalf of the entire Steeler family, we extend our condolences to Bill, his daughters and their family."
